In our industry, there are two main players in the graphics manufacturing sector: 3M, and Avery Dennison. Although there are many other graphic manufacturers on the market, 3M and Avery Dennison occupy a majority of the marketplace. These two companies supply thousands of sign and graphics companies around the nation with the highest quality Graphics & Laminates. Because these two companies have been around for so long, and are experts at their craft, they offer a certification class for graphic installers to become a 3M Certified Graphics Installation Company, and Avery offers a similar program to become an Avery Dennison Certified Installer. To gain this certification, a company needs to send installers to a week long course that consists of hands on learning and instruction, and multiple days of intensive testing. If the installer does not pass the testing portion, they do not receive their certification!
